On August 20th, 2026, riders from across Homa Bay County and beyond gathered on the shores of Lake Victoria for the Rusinga Cycling Competition — a day of races, community spirit and scenic lakeside routes across Rusinga Island. Oasis Still Waters Ltd was proud to stand alongside the organisers as an official partner, keeping every rider, marshal and spectator hydrated with purified drinking water from start to finish.

True to the event's theme — "Ride. Challenge. Discover Rusinga." — the competition brought together cyclists of all levels for a route that wound through the island's hills and along the water's edge, with the Oasis banner marking the starting point where teams gathered, checked their bikes and prepared for the day ahead.

For Oasis, sponsoring community sport is a natural extension of what the brand already stands for: reliability, endurance and showing up for the people of Homa Bay County — whether that's a household's daily water delivery or a rider's water bottle handed over mid-race. It was also a chance to meet many of the customers and neighbours the Kadongo, Migori, Oyugis and Mbita branches serve every day, face to face.
